About this course

This is a preparatory Mathematics Short E-Course designed to help you to gain an understanding of algebraic manipulation, including factorising, expansion, multiplication and division of algebraic expressions. Differential and integral calculus will be introduced with an emphasis on graphical, analytical interpretations as well as an introduction to statistics.

On successful completion of this course, you should have a sound mathematical base for further studies at advanced level (e.g. higher education studies in mathematically based degrees).

Course sessions

  • Session one: Algebra

    This session will provide an introduction to the topic of Algebra.

  • Session two: Differentiation

    This session will provide an introduction to the topic of Differentiation.

  • Session three: Integration

    This session will provide an introduction to the topic of Integration.
