About

The AccessHE Online Project is funded by the National Networks for Collaborative Outreach (NNCO) scheme which aims to encourage more young people into higher education (HE).

Working as a network to deliver HE

Working to deliver a nationally coordinated approach to working with schools, universities and colleges to help people access HE. Local and regional universities and colleges have come together to form the networks, which cover the whole of England. The scheme involves 200 universities and colleges and will reach 4,300 secondary schools and colleges.

AccessHE functions as a Network for Collaborative Outreach (NCO) which aims to encourage more young people from under-represented groups into HE. It is the largest regional network in England engaging with over 300 HE institutions (HEIs), school and colleges working in London to widen access to HE with nine member HEIs. Working with nine of its member HEIs, AccessHE is managing the Online Project to develop nine short courses for learners in Year 9 upwards.
